1. How do I add a transaction ?

  • On the left side of the portal main page you get an option of ACCOUNTING, which when clicked can help you in adding a transaction in the page.

  • You can add your income or expenses using the accounting page. You have the option of adding photos related to the billing.

  • When provided with the quantity, rate and tax percentage it automatically calculates and shows the details. The invoice number, the transaction details everything can be recorded under a single platform.

2.How do I start auto-billing ?

  • You can trigger auto-billing for your property by going to the property module, and selecting the property you want.

  • Click on edit the property, once it opens, scroll down, click on next
  • In rent and security, you will see the option of adding tenant details and billing details.

  • Click on add tenant details, fill up the required billing details.

  • Click on create task for recurring billing and save the property.
  • Hence ownerstown provides you with the automatic invoice generation you can send your tenants.
  • You can also check your own billing details from your profile.
  • Click on the profile icon on the top right corner of your screen.
  • After this your profile page will be opened which will consist of all your account details.

  • Click on the preferences tab and select add billing details button.

  • Fill out the details such as your name, phone, address, tax no. and others. And once you’ve filled, click done.

  • Now recurring bills will be sent to your tenants every month.

3.Will I get a notification of the bills received?

  • Yes the bills will be automatically sent and the tenant will receive it. You can call and confirm the tenant about the same.

4.How to delete, view or edit a transaction?

  • On the left side of the platform you get the option of accounting.

  • When clicked you get the access of adding and viewing the existing transactions

  • Open the transaction by clicking on the eye icon and, once its open you can edit and delete the transaction by clicking on the edit and delete icon on the right top of your screen.

5.What do you mean by auto billing?

  • In Auto billing, you can manage your tenant's rent by automatically sending the notification directly to the tenant that he/she needs to pay the rent, every month on time. So now you don't need to call and ask for the rent. All these problems will be taken care of by our platform automatically with whatever date you assign.

6.How do I add my billing details?

  • On the top right corner of the platform when you click "MY PROFILE" you open a page.

  • On the page you get a heading as "PREFERENCES"

  • You can add the billing details, specify the details regarding it and your bill gets added.

7.How do you send the invoices?

  • If you have opted for automated billing the bills are sent directly from the platform via email to the assigned tenant.
